Teens charged as juveniles for arson on Western School District property

JACKSON, MI Two teenage boys have been charged as juveniles with third degree arson for an Oct. 13 fire that destroyed two structures owned by Western School Testosterone Cypionate 4 Week Cycle District, Jackson County Prosecutor Jerry Jarzynka said.

The fire flattened a metal pole barn that stored athletic equipment and tile owned by the school district and destroyed an unoccupied farmhouse at 7791 Michigan Ave. in Sandstone Township.

No one was injured in the fires.
